I want your cakes to be delicious and moist, so all sponges are freshly made to order in-house.

I like to give each order the attention it deserves, and as this is a small company and to avoid disappointment please try to order as far in advance as you can, ideally 2-3 months, however sometimes shorter notifications can be accommodated ,so please don’t hesitate to contact me.

All cake orders are ordered bespoke to your needs, no 2 cakes are the same. However cakes can be ordered from the galleries or via my social media, with colours and sizes changed to fit your event and theme.

Wedding cake tastings

For all cake orders a personal consultation and tasting can be arranged, by appointment only, for a nominal fee which will be deducted from your final balance should you decide to place an order (terms and conditions apply).

Non-edible decorations on cake

Occasionally, non-edible materials are used on a cake such as brooches, feathers, diamante etc. this will only be on the client’s request/ with prior arrangement with the client and must be removed before consumption of the cake. It remains the client’s responsibility to inform the venue/caterers of this and Fiona’s Cake Boutique accepts no responsibility for any harm that may arise from their use.

Fresh Flowers

If your cake requires fresh flowers, it would be best for your florist to supply the flowers to ensure it matches the rest of your decor. I can liaise with your florist to ensure a perfect finish. Please note that some treatments used

on flowers and some flowers are  toxic and it remains your florists responsibility to ensure these are not used on your cake. Ask your florist for details regarding toxicity. Fiona’s Cake Boutique cannot be liable for any contamination to our food product that may arise from their misuse.

Taking care of your cake

Fondant covered cakes do not like being put in the refrigerator! Once you have received the cake, you can store it in a cool, dry place and out of direct sunlight. You can refrigerate or freeze cakes once they have been cut to preserve them. If you would like to keep any decorations such as sugar flowers or figurines, remove them from the cake and store in a container preferably with some anti-moisture crystals.

Buttercream (soft icing of butter and icing sugar) cakes are to be stored in its box, in the fridge or chiller until ready to present

Allergy Advice

Cakes Contain: Wheat flour (gluten), whole Egg, Buttermilk, Butter (from Milk), Sugar, Vegetable Fat, extracts, Alcohol, Colourings.

Chocolate cakes and Fruit Cakes may contain traces of Nuts. No Nuts are used in any of the cakes unless instructed by the client.

Please request ingredients for allergens if you are unsure.
